My experience in UX design has been shaped by my six-year journey at ServiceNow (2017-2023). Advancing from Design Intern to Senior Product Designer, I gained expertise in information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and UX research across multiple teams. While I worked on numerous initiatives, the following projects represent my most significant contributions:

design philosophy

design philosophy

Problem-First

I believe that beautiful design applied to the wrong problem fails to create a meaningful impact. My approach begins with a deep investigation—understanding not just what users say they need, but also the underlying problems, historical context, and the broader ecosystem within which they operate. This foundation ensures that every design decision serves a genuine human need.

Systems Thinking

My work in Design Systems at enterprise scale has shaped how I think about design holistically. I recognize that individual experiences exist within larger ecosystems, and creating cohesive experiences requires both institutional support and personal accountability. I actively reach out across teams, contribute to design systems, and ensure my work considers its impact on the broader product ecosystem.

Contextual Delight

Design should be both invisible and delightful. Good design is often invisible – creating seamless experiences that reduce cognitive load by anticipating user needs. This helps users get things done quickly and effectively, but I find that adding moments of delight transforms these functional interactions into memorable experiences. Great design strikes the right balance between efficiency and emotion.

Strategic User Advocacy

As a designer, I advocate for users while recognizing that sustainable design requires balancing user needs with business viability—a product can't serve users if it can't survive. When user needs conflict with business goals or technical limitations, I work with my partners to negotiate strategic compromises. I work best with teams that respect design's strategic value rather than those seeking visual execution of predetermined solutions.

Responsible Innovation

I believe every technology carries both promise and peril. Individual contributors face real constraints—tight deadlines, limited influence, tunnel vision—that make it difficult to fully consider our work's broader impacts. That's why I aspire to work at scales where I can meaningfully assess and shape technology's broader human impact, which is what I'm exploring through my research at NYU.
